Month of Italian Fashion 2023

After the great success of the first two promotions, the 3rd edition of the "Italian Fashion Month" has been launched. The promotional campaign is organized by the Italian Trade Agency in Ljubljana in collaboration with the Slovenian retailer Magistrat International, as part of the large-scale retail distribution project Fashion in Slovenia. The project is financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation with the support of the Italian Embassy in Ljubljana.

For the next two months Galerija Emporium, luxury multi-brand flagship store located in the centre of the capital and hosted in a historic art nouveau building built in 1903, the modern Emporium multistore inside BTC, one of the busiest shopping malls in Ljubljana with mid-high range products, and the website emporium.si will be home to over 60 Made in Italy fashion brands. The promotion takes place from November 6 to December 21, 2023, offering to participating companies the opportunity to present their new autumn/winter collections.

The theme of this year's promotion is focused on holidays and the festive clothing, footwear and accessories with gold, silver and glitter tones that form the basis of this year’s design concept.

The promotion is supported by an extensive advertising campaign within the two stores in Ljubljana, on the website emporium.si and on social media channels, outdoor advertising in the busiest points of the capital, advertising in magazines, on television and radio channels, and many events, including a fashion show with clothing and accessories from participating Italian companies.

The importance of the excellence Made in Italy in Slovenia is also supported by the fact that in 2022 Italy was Slovenia's first supplier of footwear and leather goods (20% share, with an annual growth of 14 %) and second supplier of clothing after Germany (15% share, with an annual growth of 17%), for a total value of 206 million euros.

The Italian Fashion Month has become a visibly important brand in Slovenia and is considered a national point of reference for trends and innovations of the Italian fashion.
