The Italian Trade Commission (ICE Toronto) is pleased to announce its participation in the Interior Design Show (IDS) 2026, taking place January 22–25, 2026, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre – North Building.
As part of our mandate to promote Italian excellence in Canada, our office will support a delegation of Italian companies from the design and home-living sectors—ranging from furniture and décor to ceramics, marble, lighting, and interior design solutions. The Italian pavilion will showcase the quality, craftsmanship, and innovation that define Made in Italy in the global design landscape.
Why Canada and Why IDS
Canada continues to represent a dynamic and expanding market for high-quality home furnishings. The sector is projected to reach USD 8.70 billion in 2025, growing to USD 11.86 billion by 2030, with an annual increase of 6.40%. Despite inflationary pressures, Canadian consumers continue to prioritize investment in their homes, with Toronto and Montreal emerging as the most strategic cities for premium international interior design brands.
IDS remains Canada’s leading platform for interior design, architecture, and lifestyle innovation. With more than 258 exhibitors and 33,000+ trade and consumer visitors at the 2025 edition, the show attracts architects, interior designers, retailers, developers, media, and the broader creative community. For Italian companies, IDS is an unparalleled opportunity to engage with buyers and partners in one of North America’s fastest-growing urban hubs.
