Meet Italy at Fruit Logistica 2026

Italy at Fruit Logistica (Berlin, 4–6 February 2026)

On 4th February 2026, Fruit Logistica will open its doors in Berlin. Fruit Logistica is Europe’s most important international trade fair for the fruit and vegetable sector and related logistics services.

As in previous years, Italy once again confirms its position as the leading exhibiting country, with around 380 Italian exhibitors (166 of them direct exhibitors) out of a total of 2,458 participants from 90 countries, also thanks to the continuous presence of associations, public bodies and institutional organizations.

The Italian Trade Agency – ITA through its Investment Attraction Desk at the Berlin Office, within the framework of Invest in Italy (a government program promoted by MAECI - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, MIMIT - Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, ITA and INVITALIA) will be present with an Info & Investment Desk in Hall 2.2 Stand A-41 to provide assistance to Italian companies attending the event and to promote investment opportunities in the logistics sector.

The objectives of this participation are therefore to:

  • promote Italy as a logistics hub, positioning the country as a destination for qualified foreign investments in food processing and in cold/fresh logistics;
  • facilitate meetings between foreign investors and Italian operators in the sector;
  • present Italy’s logistics opportunities.

The institutional area will also host the North Tyrrhenian Sea Port Authority, which, together with Interporto “Amerigo Vespucci”, TDT, CSC and Livorno Reefer – Gruppo CPL, is taking part in Fruit Logistica with the Livorno Cold Chain project. This is an operational structure of excellence for the port system of Livorno, offering efficiency standards and KPIs at a European level. The concentration of various technical and operational profiles in the same area makes the Livorno experience unique in the sector, ensuring unparalleled vessel discharge performance and a state-of-the-art traceability system that reduces delivery times.

Fruit Logistica is the first of the strategic events in Germany selected by MAECI as a platform for the Opportunitaly communication campaign, a business acceleration program promoted by the MAECI and implemented by the Italian Trade Agency to strengthen the presence of Made in Italy in foreign markets, connecting buyers, distributors and foreign entrepreneurs with Italian know-how and excellence.

A dedicated corner will also be set up within the ICE institutional stand for the presentation of the digital matchmaking platform and the Buyers’ Club, an exclusive area for foreign operators who can access exclusive content and personalized assistance, as well as the opportunity to take part in trade missions to Italy.
