From June 2018, the Foreign Investments Attraction in Italy unit is operating, at the ITA Agency Office in Bern, as a reference point for local investors interested in taking advantage of business opportunities in Italy.

The Foreign Investments Attraction Department is a dedicated unit of ITA for facilitating the establishment and the development of foreign companies in Italy. The Department's main activities focus on:

• promoting business opportunities
• helping foreign investors to establish or expand their operations
• supporting investors throughout the investment life cycle
• offering high-level tutoring services for existing strategic investment

The desk's main objective is to intercept economic actors with the most promising investment intentions for Italy, map their needs and support them throughout the investment lifecycle with emphasis on the early stages of the process.
