Cantina Vini Tipici Aretino of Ponte a Chiani is situated at the gates of Arezzo.
It is a cooperative with more than 350 members, owners of about eigth hundred hectares of vineyards in the province of Arezzo.
Established in 1971, the original structures have been modernized.
The wine-making, refinement, refrigeration and stabilization fixtures guarantee the best quality and hygiene. The bottling plant is entirely automatic and sterile. The grapes are looked after following traditional Tuscan methods, using the Chianti way of maturing in slavonian wood and in Barriques made up with precious French and American kinds of wood.
Among the products, the following denomination can be mentioned: IGT Toscana; DOC Valdichiana; DOCG Chianti; DOCG Chianti Colli Aretini; DOCG Chianti Riserva.
