Gaierhof is a historic Trentino winery based in Roverè della Luna, in the heart of the Piana Rotaliana. Its wines reflect the identity of the territory and are known for drinkability, varietal clarity, freshness, and reliability.
CLIMATE
The area benefits from a unique microclimate influenced by the Dolomites and Lake Garda. Roverè della Luna is ideal for white grapes thanks to its cool, ventilated conditions and strong diurnal shifts, which ensure acidity, aromatic finesse, and elegance in the wines.
SOIL
Soils vary by area. Roverè della Luna features deep, gravelly, well-drained soils perfect for Pinot Grigio and Traminer. The Piana Rotaliana is characterized by alluvial soils rich in gravel, sand, and pebbles, contributing to mineral and structured wines. Other zones include calcareous and alluvial deposits suitable for multiple grape varieties.
VINEYARDS
Gaierhof collaborates with 100 skilled growers managing about 170 hectares across the main DOC areas of Trentino-Alto Adige. Vineyards span altitudes from 240 to 700 meters and include key areas like Val di Cembra, Piana Rotaliana, Colline Avisiane, and Vallagarina. Main varieties: Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Müller Thurgau, Teroldego Rotaliano, Pinot Noir, and Lagrein.
CULTIVATION
The estate is committed to sustainable, integrated viticulture. Practices include low-impact techniques, integrated pest control, natural grassing without herbicides, and sexual confusion to combat harmful insects. Training systems include the Trentino Pergola and Guyot. Roses planted near vines act as natural warning signals for vineyard health.
WINERY
The modern winery uses advanced technology to preserve the aromatic profile and minerality of the grapes. Fermentation and aging occur mainly in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Some reds may mature in oak barrels, depending on the style.
FAMILY
Gaierhof is owned by the Togn family, a historic name in Trentino viticulture and one of the few family-run wineries with significant production (about 800,000 bottles). The family also owns Maso Poli. The company is led by sisters Romina, Valentina, and Martina Togn, who combine tradition with modern expertise.

Winemaker Goffredo Pasolli ensures the distinctive Gaierhof style, defined by freshness, varietal purity, and drinkability.
