Italprogetti is an engineering company. It was born in the early 70's, within the tanning district of Santa Croce sull'Arno, Italy. Since its very first start, the company has worked with the constant aim of innovation, and has developed many original solution for tannering industry, water-treatment sector and food division. The contiguous leather cluster of Santa Croce sull'Arno, has been fundamental to the history of the Company, which has been able to understand the manufacturing needs of the sector through the years and to develop innovative solutions and technologies for leather processing and for an efficient environmental compatibility. From the early 90's Italprogetti has revolutionized tannering processes, introducing its first PPH drum, and becoming the world reference with an over 20 years building esperience.

Polypropylene Drum
From the early ‘90s Italprogetti has been the first company to
design and build Polypropylene drums for leather processing,
developing the technology and discovering all the advantages
of this material through the years, such as:
• smooth surface to preserve skins from any abrasion
damage;
• long-lasting life and no ageing effects;
• less water, chemicals and energy consumption;
• better results in terms of processed leather, thanks to the
temperature and working parameters control;
• more efficient chemical distribution and absorption,
consequent less concentration of chemicals in the
wastewaters.
Dosing systems and process controlling systems
The dosing systems for chemicals (liquid and powder) and
water mixing can be supplied as stand-alone systems or fully
integrated into a dedicated control-software. Through this
software the entire management cycle can be automatic, with
a maximum optimization of time and resources and with a full
control over every working parameter.
Wastewater Treatment for industrial plants
With over 30 years of experience, Italprogetti is now an international renowned reality in the wastewater treatment, with prestigious references scattered in all continents. The environmental division, which arose and professionally developed in tannery industry, has managed over the years to meet the growing environmental sensitivity required both for civil and for industrial waters, expanding its knowledge to different industrial fields (paper mills, abattoirs, textile industries, Oil&Gas, etc ...).
Today Italprogetti produces directly in its workshops most of the machines used for its plants and is able to offer its customers reliable, well-tested solutions based on the latest technologies (MBR plants, MBBR, RO, etc ...). Oil Filtration
In the oil market, Italprogetti has developed innovative systems for olive oil filtering, storage and temperature control.
The considerable advantages and quality guaranteed by our systems have enabled us to meet the needs of the most important oil companies in the Italian and international context.
The Italprogetti system allows single cycle filtering also for very difficult olive oils avoiding both brightening and systems for oil recovery from exhausted flours. The care Italprogetti automation guarantees in the adjuvant dosing phases and flow rate management of raw oil allows an average oil loss of around 500gr. per ton. The adjuvant dosage stands at an average value of
about 1.5 kg per ton.
The presence of the operator is radically reduced. The management of the cycle can be conducted remotely by internet connection. Filtration plates are exposed, can be easily and quickly cleaned (about 30 seconds per square meter), guaranteeing hygiene superior to any other filter on the market. The system is designed so that the filtration cycle can be interrupted and resumed at any time.

ULTRAcell DAF
The ULTRAcell DAF, disegned and manufactured by Italprogetti, represent the state of art of the Dissolved Air Flottation units for the final clarification of wastewater after biological treatment. It also shows high efficiencies in the recovery of internal water loop of the paper mills.
Thanks to the U-channel tecnology ULTRAcell guarantees high standards of treated water before the discharge to the river (or other receptors) and in a paper mills applications, our DAF guarantees high flow rate with small sizes and high efficiency in removal of fibers.
