A WARM WELCOME
To Cerignola, Puglia, best known as one of the greatest producers of artichokes and tomatoes. The birthplace of ‘Bella della Daunia’, the green DOP olive.
You’ve just reached the homeland of fine food, the sun-bleached Southern Italy and, to be specific, the Capitanata that coincides with the ancient Daunia and current Province of Foggia.

WHO WE ARE
A food company founded and pioneered by Gerardo Scarano, in 1997 to present date, in a modest rental establishment on the periphery of the town.
Nowadays a family-run firm where tradition and innovation are equally established and takes pride in being able to master successfully the expansion of business.

1997 - Le Conserve Daune’s beginnings
We began producing vegetables preserves, expressing our best cultural riches, showing straightaway a strong vocation to international markets.

2003- The first expansion
Our company business model became a success and we were able to move to a larger plant of 10,500 sq m.

2007- New products
We entered the pasta sauce, pesto, crostini and semidried tomatoes market for the first time.

2013- The expansion continues
We inaugurated a new dedicated production line and a warehouse of 7,500 sq m that consists of offices and storage.

2015 - a Però’s launch
We launched a brand-new logo:
in italian and sounds like “aperitivo” in so many different languages such as Spanish, German, French, Polish, Swedish, Hungarian, Croatian, Finnish, to name a few.
The traditional oval-shaped logo is used as a manufacturer’s signature and quality guarantee.

2017- A multi-certified and updated system of control
We kept active for many years: IFS, BRC, Organinc and Kosher certificates.
All of our products are GMO free.
We have a licence for the green DOP olive Bella della Daunia.
We started to work on the Gluten Free licence.

2019- Modern packing system
We launch trays and doypack bags especially for our wide range of olives and lupini beans by taking another step forward in terms of offer.

In our new collection you can find Pasta Sauce and Pesto to prepare by yourself authentic Italian first courses or “Primi”, such as linguine alla genovese and bucatini amatriciana, and also a selection of creamy and extremely tasty Crostini, ideal for wetting the appetite and adding an extra special touch to bruschetta and rarebit.



Enjoy traditional Italian Antipasti such as mushrooms, aubergines, zucchini, peppers, chillies, garlic, onions and regional specialities such as Apulian Artichokes and semi-dried tomatoes. All prepared with sunflower oil and selected ingredients.



Whole or pitted, in brine or seasoned in oil: a wide range of lush and juicy olives. Excellent on its own, with taralli and red wine or with cheese and salami.
