Established in 1800, Criserà Winery has a long family tradition of love and dedication to its land, to the worship of the vineyard and wine. A Calabrian family of ancient traditions deeply rooted in the most authentic values, which have been passed down for four generations until today, resulting in a firmly established and successful business. The Criserà Company, both by vocation and profession, after years of experienced refinements, has introduced into the market with a variety of IGT wines from the well-defined nature, characterized by a strong character and great finesse and elegance.

Keeping focused on the genuineness, commitment in selecting quality autochthonous vines, now it uses the latest technology to achieve quality levels of high competitiveness and standard, adapting to the demands of the global market. This allowed the Criserà wines to obtain national and international awards as well as being praised by the most important gastronomic guides. The philosophy of Criserà Winery is expressed in personal contact with Italian and foreign customers, hosted as guests in the corporate structures, where they can taste the wide variety of wines that the winery produces.

Produced with Sangiovese and Nerello Calabrese vines, chosen on steep and sunny Calabrian hill (about 600/700 metres high), and fardily gathered so to get the highest aromatic concentration. Producing according to the old fashion with a 96 hours maceration and fermented in a small oak butts, we obtained a vine with alcholic strenght of about 14°, an overall acidity of 7 grams per litre, a 3,3 pH, a very low volatile acidity of 0,4 grams per litre.



The "armacìe" (or "armacere" ) are the stone walls that support the terraced vineyards of the Costa Viola where for centuries the winemakers practice the so-called "heroic viticulture extreme" because of the difficult conditions in which they operate. Thanks to the establishment of the Coop. "Enopolis Costa Viola", we produce "Armacìa" , a nice wine, greatly appreciated not only for its organoleptic characteristics also for its social and environmental role.



A fine white wine which recalls to the palate all the charm of a land rich in suggestions, a territory that gets joy and harmony from the sea, kissed by the sun drips and by enchanted lush mountains.



To produce this wine , we have selected the oldest grapes of the region : Gaglioppo and Nerello Calabrese . It recalls to the palate all the glamour of a place enchanted by the Homeric sirens mythical songs : LIGE , It’s like a honey, enchantes men and makes them wiser”.



Obtained by autochthonous vine cultivar growing up on the mediterranean hills. Scrupolous agronomic cares and a careful vinifications, valorize the aromatic notes of the grape and it exalts the structure of the wine for a seductive melody in perfumes of good persistence.
