Barolo D.O.C.G. del Comune di Barolo
A Barolo that expresses the unicity of this terroir.
This Barolo comes from the Commune that is the symbol of this denomination in the world. Its impressive castle dominates the surrounding hills, Unesco World Heritage since 2014. The soil in the municipality of Barolo is made up of marl and sand, the ideal condition to let vines express each vineyard chatacter.
100% Nebbiolo refined in big casks of Slavonian oak, and then in the bottle.
Hints of blackberry, currant pulp and sweet cherry interspersed with delicate toasted and balsamic scents. Powerful tannins in the mouth, but well balanced by a pleasant feeling of envelopment like velvet. Fine and persistent.
Perfect to pair with Lasagne with porcini mushrooms, tartare of raw Piedmontese meat with Parmesan, fried egg with white truffle from Alba, castelmagno, matured Parmesan.
