OMERA S.R.L.

OMERA: SUSTAINABILITY FOR A RESPONSIBLE AND RESILIENT INDUSTRIALIZATION

Over the years, OMERA has committed not only to increase its own sustainability along consolidated paths, but also to provide itself with the necessary know-how and implement it in order to understand and react to constantly evolving scenarios.

The pillars of its growth namely the design and supply of completely automatic productions lines, specialised partners, the use of standardised components, constant investments in innovation and development, and the enhancement of human resources serve as examples of this commitment. These factors have also contributed to improving the efficiency in the organisation and the production processes.

For a long time, OMERA has defined the priority assets related to its engagement towards the sustainability and its social role, setting the guidelines to follow according to precise achievable goals, in the short and long term, regarding the environmental and energy saving field, the creation of appealing contexts for students and workers, and the quality of work and training.

For OMERA, sustainability means relaunching a new business model capable of creating value for all the current stakeholders and future generations, by promoting a responsible and resilient industrialization.

Our company has intercepted some important changes, modified the use of resources, enhanced the creation of ideas, fostered innovation through a governance that integrates the environmental, social and economic sustainability in the management processes, and favours the territory, the green mission, teamwork, innovation and the customers’ satisfaction.

Automatic production lines, trimming-beading machines, hydraulic and mechanical presses are technological solutions that allows for a green boost towards the reduction of production costs by the users given the growing influence of energy price.

If today OMERA has become an important player in the sector of machine tools worldwide, a technological hub able to face and win the new challenges, it is thanks to its ability to give more added values to its customers, under the sign of quality, service and continuous technological innovation, believing that the OMERA system, in which all stakeholders recognise themselves, will be able to commit to design not only its present, but also the future of the generations to come.

Machines produced in series or customized according to customer's requirements in order to perform the following operations:

• Trimming
• Inward/outward beading
• Inward/outward ribbing
• Inward/outward curling
• Inward/outward flanging
• Threading
• Lock-seaming with 3 or 5 container thicknesses

on round and polygonal drawn parts or roll-bended cylinders.

All OMERA trimming-beading machine models can be equipped with specific motorisation according to the kind of machining to be performed and with working units driven by pneumatic-hydraulic, hydraulic and/or brushless electric systems.

The monolithic or composite press is widely used in a vast range of applications in a whole host of different industrial sectors involving sheet metal working. They aim at maximising the system output and allow unconventional machining with a consequent reduction of the production costs. They can be supplied complete with dies and automatic feeding systems and are typically used in the production of:

• Bottom ends for water heaters and tanks
• Cooker tops
• Domestic appliances
• Drinks containers
• Stainless steel pots and pans
• Pressurised containers
• Gas cylinders
• Fire extinguishers
• Automotive parts

Nominal force (up to): 30000 kN

Table dimensions: 5000x3000 mm

Stroke (up to): 2000mm

Composite and monolithic mechanical presses are characterised by a high frame stiffness, tested using the Finite Element Method (FEM), and by the precision of the slide guidance system. OMERA range of products provides for single or double connecting rod mechanical presses, with fixed or variable stroke and automatic stroke adjustment. According to the applications and to the pieces to be produced, OMERA develops solutions with kinematics:

• Eccentric
• Soft blanking
• Link drive
• Servodrive

Nominal force (up to): 20000 kN

Speed (up to) 140 rpm

Stroke (up to): 800 mm

C-FRAME hydraulic presses – produced in series for drawing and deep-drawing operations.

Nominal force (up to): 2000 kN

Table dimensions: 1000 x 800 mm

Stroke (up to): 1800 mm

Used both as single unit and as part of a line – for example with trimming beading machines – and fed manually, automatically or by means of transfer, C-frame hydraulic presses are typically used in the production of:

• Stainless steel pots and pans
• Teflon-coated aluminium pans and frying pans
• Filters and cartridges
• Gas bottles and camping accessories
• Expansion containers
• Pump components
• Drinks containers

C-FRAME mechanical presses are specifically used for blanking and for the manual single-stroke or automatic cycle stamping of small parts. The current range includes flying and flag presses from 63 to 315 tons. The 63-ton is the smallest of the range, with the slide running on 4 guides. From 120-ton onwards, the slide moves on 6 guides.

Nominal force (up to): 3150 kN

Speed (up to) 120 rpm

Stroke (up to): 250 mm

Automatic or semi-automatic lines for the production of water-heaters, expansion vessels, downpipes, gas cylinders, pots and pans made of multi-ply material, lids, appliances, car parts, etc.

The experience of a qualified company in the construction of sheet metal forming machines, the worldwide recognized expertise, the collaboration with leading companies in the production of dies, the majority acquisition of a manufacturer of special machines have allowed Omera to achieve an enviable technological background.

This enables us to produce today efficient, reliable, technologically advanced and highly productive automatic production lines. A perfect integration between customer's needs and the proposed technological level
