Over Half a Century of Industrial and Family Heritage - Proudly Made in Italy
Founded in 1948, the first company in what would eventually become the Zambaiti Group began its journey. In 1966, Giancarlo Zambaiti established the Cotonificio Zambaiti in Bergamo. The leadership torch was passed in 1997 when his son, Angelo Zambaiti, became the Chairman of the Board.
In 1980, the Happidea brand, aimed at the large-scale retail sector, was launched, followed by the acquisition of Cassera – home linens division. Over the years, numerous awards and certifications have been attained, reflecting the company's commitment to continuous evolution. This includes optimizing production efficiency by incorporating state-of-the-art machinery and addressing social and environmental sustainability. Notable initiatives include the installation of a photovoltaic plant, reduction of CO2 emissions, new purification systems, and the use of semi-finished product machinery geared towards recycling.
At Cotonificio Zambaiti, quality is paramount in every phase of the manufacturing process, ensuring superior home textiles Made in Italy. Our range includes natural fiber bed sheets, tablecloths, towels, and children’s products, all created with an eye towards ecological sustainability.
