Establishment date: 1952, 14th April
Located at the foot of the Veneto’s Pre-Alps, in the
delightful hilly region between Asolo and Conegliano, the
winery was founded in 1952 by a handful of vine growers
with a strong belief in the benefits of cooperation as a
solution to face the economic difficulties of that time.
Since then, the winery has been recognized as a leader
company in the Valdobbiadene area, tracing the lines
of the development of Prosecco production from a local
wine to an international best seller.
it is recognized as one of the oldest companies growing,
processing and bottling Prosecco.
Today the winery has 600 members with 1.000 ha of
vineyards . The company is specialized in Prosecco
Spumante Docg ( 70% production ) and in Italy it
is considered one of the leading producers of this
denomination, with a production of 13.600.000 bottles.
With internal regulations the entire harvest of the grapes
destined to D.O.C. and D.OC.G. must be done by hand.
Val D’Oca selects the best grapes from members and
make them into sparkling wine . Thanks to the modern
technologies in the vineyards and in the winemaking
process , we work 15.000 tons of grapes a year.
The Cellar, which is equipped with the most modern
winemaking techniques, counts four winemakers and an
agronomist.
The company is investing a lot both technologically
and sustainable, for example we have just created a
warehouse and an automated bottling plant able to
dialogue with each other, led by a 4.0 detection system
on the use of a photovoltaic system that, during the day,
allows complete energy self-sufficiency.
Today Val D’Oca is the most influential cooperatives
in terms of quality in Italy, a point of reference and a
guideline for all the companies in the area that
produce Prosecco.
The operational structure has seen a stable and
consolidated summit for many years. The Chairman is
Franco Varaschin, General Manager Mr. Alessandro Vella.
