ESE - Engineering Services for Energy – is an Italian engineering consulting Company of the highest level operating worldwide in the power generation, hydrogen and storage industry since 1994. We work jointly with our Customers to develop smart solutions across all project phases, from plant conception to commissioning.
We deliver complete technical and feasibility studies, basic and advanced designs up to tender documents preparation and business plans. Among the services we offer, Owner’s engineering service is the one that made us known for the high competence and experience.

Green Hydrogen and Ammonia
ESE is involved with green hydrogen production since 2018
We design green hydrogen and green ammonia production plants from
renewable sources, providing complete support to our Clients from
conceptual to realization phase.
We have performed conceptual engineering studies for plants
from 150 kW to 800 MW capacity.
We have developed an in-house software for the H2 plant optimization
(RES, electrolyzers, storage).
We have designed a natural gas and hydrogen mixer for H2 introduction
in industrial processes, the as well as the necessary systems to feed Gas
Turbines with hydrogen.

Offshore Wind
ESE offers engineering and consultancy support for innovative solutions, such as offshore substations, which ESE designs in partnership with Tecon – a Company with proven capabilities in the design of offshore platforms.
ESE has expertise in the design of AIS and GIS for different plant sizes, up to 400 kV, drawing from its 30-years experience in the field of power generation.
ESE is now approaching offshore solutions to support renewable solutions. As an example, ESE will provide support for the design of the offshore substation of the Barium Bay project, consisting of a 1,2 GW offshore wind farm, aiming at the production of green hydrogen.
