Since 1993 Ceramica Mediterranea has been producing
ceramic surfaces for wall and floor coverings with raw
materials extracted and processed on Sardinian soil,
thus earning the title of the only Italian producer of zero
km ceramics.
The production and technique optimization avoids
dispersion of resources and allows us to offer a high
value in terms of product and service.
The primary interest of our company is reliability in
supplies and delivery times, precision and regularity

In the Essentzia decorations of Sardinia, the typical weaving techniques of Sardinian tapestries and carpets (pibiones), fine-tuned by dedicated local artisans, are reinterpreted iconographically.

In Sardinian, Nues is the name given to clouds. These soft, sinuous, and cozy creations are more true than ever to their inspiration.
Nues, with its warm and natural tones, creates cozy environments with an ancient flavor. The sinuosity of its lines, sometimes barely hinted at, are reminiscent of the light stroke of a hand brushing against freshly traced sand or clay. The delicate tone-on-tone ornamentation dresses the surface with symbolic meanings.
The collection consists of different modules that combined together to create original and seldom repeatable compositions.

Naes, in Sardinian, refers to the branches of a tree whose shade was a place of rest and refreshment for shepherds. These creations feature plays of contrasting shades and shadows, and clean and minimalist lines that recall the simplicity and essentials of life.
Naes was created as a tribute to Sa bèrtula, the ancient saddlebag of Sardinian shepherds, which was carried on the shoulders or on the backs of horses and donkeys during transhumance to carry provisions and personal items. Made of typical Sardinian fabric from the processing of raw wool, Sa bèrtula was sewn by hand by the women of the house.
