Calafe company took its name from Benito Petrillo 3 nephews names : Camilla, Laura and Federica. It was born after the acquisition of the sunny hill in Principato Ultra of Prata, a field rich in sulphur due to its volcanic origin. On a sulphuric soil with cool climate and good temperature Calafe managed to create some of the best wines in the area, considering that Prata is also one of the 8 territories with DOCG top quality label. Particularly Greco di Tufo is Calafe brand, a little miracle of smells ad structure concentration.
