Since 1966 we have been carrying out precision mechanical machining based on the customer's order and drawing through the use of lathes, machining centers (vertical, horizontal and 5-axis) and grinding.
Supported by two cad-cam software we are able to obtain the most complex geometries to satisfy every type of request.
Many years of experience in the field of CNC machining has allowed us over the years to optimize the machining cycles for various types of non-ferrous and ferrous materials (bar, cast and molded); in fact, we work various types of aluminium, copper, brass, steel and plastic materials (e.g. Delrin, Nylon etc). In addition to the repetitive and mass production of medium-small batches, we are also able to produce 1-piece samples.
The reliability demonstrated over the years and the customer's need to order a finished product have allowed us to be nominated "prime contractor" by numerous customers.
This has led to a more structured internal organization starting from the estimate phase up to the accurate packaging and subsequently to the final shipment via a courier to reach the most distant destinations or with our own vehicle for short journeys. To offer services with standard high quality, over the years, we have structured a supply chain capable of satisfying the most disparate requests. In addition to the raw material, in fact, our supplier base offers processes such as broaching, cylindrical grinding for internal and external, welding, brazing up to thermal and surface treatments such as oxidation (natural, colored and hard colored), Oxide®, painting, galvanizing, chrome plating, silver plating, tinning, passivation, phosphating, sandblasting, tumbling, brightening, resin plating etc.
The company, in addition to being ISO 9001:2015 certified, is approved by the most important customers through a process that periodically checks the entire production process with extremely high-performance audits.

The market demand for increasingly complex machining has pushed the company to invest in a new multitasking vertical machining center with 5 high-performance axes. The choice fell on the installation of a highly performing machine in terms of speed, reliability and precision. The machine, in addition to being compact, is equipped with rotation (c=360°) and inclination (a= 120° -30°) axes which allow turning and milling processes to be carried out in a single positioning. In addition to the reduction in piece movements and therefore an increase in efficiency, the most important advantage is linked to the elimination of all those tolerance errors that can add up in the various placements between the different processing phases. Just 3 years after the installation of the first machine, Irma has installed a second machine with the same technical characteristics but with the addition of a robot and relative piece storage tower capable of automating the piece loading and unloading process.

ELECTROMECHANICAL
Production of custom-designed components intended for use in low and medium voltage apparatus and switchboards.
For over 35 years we have been reliable partners for the supply of custom-designed components intended for use in low and medium voltage apparatus and switchboards for primary and secondary distribution. The materials processed for this sector are mainly Copper (CU-ETP) and its alloys such as Brass and Bronze as well as Aluminum alloys including Anticorodal (6082 and 6026) and 2011. In addition to bar materials, we work aluminum castings and stampings, as well as various steels including C45.
HANDLING & VACUUM
Supply of products for mechatronics and related products such as pneumatics and robot gripping components.
It has been defined by many as the "sector of the future" and for the past 15 years we have embarked on the path of supplying this sector as well as related products such as pneumatics and robot gripping components including electric and pneumatic grippers as well as components for creation of vacuum. The processed materials are mainly Anticorodal aluminum alloys (6082 and 6026), ferrous materials such as hardened and tempered steels (C40 and C45) and stainless steel (300 and 400 series). We also work plastic materials such as Delrin, Nylon, Teflon.
