For over 60 years Sfregola Materie Plastiche has been a leader in the world of plastics processing and transformation.
The progressive growth of the group, founded in 1963, with a constantly increasing turnover of about 20 million euros, is due to a young and qualified team, the continuous improvement of production and scientific processes, therefore to a particular attention to the latest technological applications. These key factors have allowed SFREGOLA MATERIE PLASTICHE not only to consolidate its position on a national scale, becoming a landmark in the Green Economy sector and the Circular Economy, but also to access new commercial areas with consequent diversification of activities. The company is specialized in the production of roll waste bags and sacks in regenerated PE (HD-MD-LDPE), biodegradable and compostable waste bags complying with EN 13432:2002, with build-in raffia strings closure, of any size and thickness, for separate collection – multimaterial collection – “Door to door” collection – MSW (municipal solid waste) – organic collection – medical waste and special waste in general, compostable waste bags with handles for the fruit and vegetable sector, equipped with double welding technology (patent pending), and perfumed and non-perfumed waste roll bags, in customized packaging up to 10 colours. Currently, SMP supplies some of the most important large retailers and over 400 municipalities throughout Italy with bags and systems for separate waste collection.
