Cinquesegni comes in 2008 from the desire of five friends to give a new light to the wine tradition, bringing together two
Italian excellences: Wine and Art.
The Company name is inspired by the five signs which each of the founders has engraved in their vineyard with the
promise to realize their ambitious dream together. The enhancement of the terroir, the protection of the wine making
tradition and the continuous pursuit of the quality on one hand, and the innovation in design inspired by Italian art on
the other hand, created a unique product distinguished by a particular ultra-thin ceramic label patented in in the main
Countries worldwide. For these reasons CinqueSegni is considered an exclusive company, an “Art Winery Boutique”,
where art and creativity are the main elements which inspire the wine production.

from, and which characterize the company’s innovative design. Since its origin, the human being has been always attracted
by the aestethic beauty and benefit from the search of details which stimulate our senses.
Il Segno is a product designed to satisfy the ancestral needs of the human being: to stimulate all the senses through a good
quality wine together with the attention to aesthetic details.
Il Segno is a blend of grapes from south Italy: Primitivo di Manduria, Aglianico del Vulture, Nerello Mascalese, Nero d’Avola
and Sangiovese, which come from selected vineyards “from East to West”.

The Night Harvest
The choice of the night is fundamental to guarantee a
better conservation of the grapes while mantaining their
aromas, which may be compromised otherwise by the
high temperatures of the day time, avoiding then an
early fermentation and a risk of oxidation, and to allow
to work in less stenuous conditions. For these reasons,
we continue to follow the tradition of the night harvest,
by telling through the wines and the labels of the Luna
Passante line, representing the wonderful Sicily all over
the world.
