DESIGN OF FOOD PROCESS AND HANDLING SYSTEMS AND FACILITIES
AGROTEC has acquired a vast experience in the food sector, both in terms of technical assistance services and in terms of supply of equipment, as well as design of the whole process flow of commodities from their origin to destination, through transport, handling process,bagging and delivery.
In order to ensure safe food and adequate conservation programs, the facilities and surroundings where food processing and handling operations are conducted must be designed and constructed according to sound sanitary design principles, and best industry practice standards
PROCUREMENT OF LABORATORY EQUIPMENT AND MACHINERIES
Established in 1995, Agrotec’s Procurement Unit has successfully completed more than 60 large scale supply projects financed by the European Union, the World Bank and the Italian Development Cooperation.
Thanks to the company’s extensive international experience, all projects are managed with an accurate knowledge of international tendering procedures.
Agrotec has been gaining experience in tendering procedures since 1986 when the company was appointed Procurement Agent on behalf of the European Community. This important role has allowed Agrotec to acquire thorough practical knowledge with activities such as: the preparation of technical and administrative tender documents, the launch of international tenders, the evaluation of offers and contract awarding to the suppliers, the supervision and administration of supply contracts.
SUPPLY OF AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES
Within its fields of action, and because of its worldwide presence, Agrotec has established a network of
producers and consumers of commodities and raw materials that may meet reciprocal requirements and needs through a virtual market network. Agrotec’s Commodity Consulting Division allows supply to meet demand and vice versa.
