CUSMAI 1925
Apulia, one jar at a time.

ISO 22000:2018 CERTIFIED | 100% PESTICIDE RESIDUE ABATEMENT | NICKEL-FREE | ORGANIC (BIO) OLIVE OIL

In 1925, in Andria, our great-grandfather Salvatore bought a masseria. He had olive trees, soil, and a table in their shade.

At that table, our grandmother Grazia served the simple flavours of the land: what grew a few steps away, prepared the way it had always been done. She is still the memory of our family and the keeper of our recipes.

The table has grown, but the place is the same. Our home, our company and our cannery are all here, in Andria, where we prepare and pack our products ourselves. Today we run Cusmai: Nicola, Riccardo and Gianfranco, with our parents Maria and Salvatore, our uncles Nunzia and Sabino and, at the centre of it all, Grazia.

We have one conviction: staying true to our roots makes food taste truer, cleaner, more honest. And we can prove it.

What is more Italian than a plate of pasta with tomato sauce? Our passata is a welcome to Italy, and a welcome back to Apulia: the way it used to be, the way it has always been.

It is made by our family, by hand and in small batches, in our own cannery in Andria. We produce it only in July and August, working the tomatoes fresh, and it keeps the simple, bold taste of a ripe tomato.

Ingredients: fresh Italian red tomatoes (Apulia), Margherita di Savoia salt, one fresh basil leaf.

Ideal for pasta, sauces, pizza and traditional Italian recipes.

Format: 680 g.
Made in Italy. Produced in Andria, Apulia.

Our organic extra virgin olive oil comes from the Ogliarola cultivar, grown in our own olive groves between Andria and Cerignola, in Apulia. The olives are harvested between October and December and cold-pressed within a few hours of harvest.

Colour: green with yellow hues.
Aroma: light and fresh, with hints of herbs, flowers and green tomato.
Taste: sweet, with delicate bitter and pungent notes, and a pleasant finish of fresh almond.

Delicate, elegant and harmonious, it is the perfect companion for fish and seafood and for light sauces, and it is excellent in pastry.

Ingredients: extra virgin olive oil from Ogliarola cultivar* (*from organic farming). Cold extraction.

Format: 500 ml.
Organic (BIO). Made in Italy. Produced in Andria, Apulia.

Our Intense Fruity extra virgin olive oil is made from the Coratina and Peranzana cultivars, grown in our own olive groves between Andria and Cerignola, in Apulia. The olives are harvested between October and December and cold-pressed within a few hours of harvest.

Colour: emerald green with golden reflections.
Aroma: powerful and clearly fruity, with distinct notes of almond and artichoke.
Taste: sweet, balanced by pronounced bitter and pungent notes.

Bold, elegant and full of character, it belongs to the earthy flavours of the land: bread, meats, wild greens and Murgia mushrooms.

Ingredients: extra virgin olive oil from Coratina and Peranzana cultivars. Cold extraction.

Format: 500 ml.
