BOTTEGA GOLD Prosecco DOC Spumante Brut
Bottega Gold is a Prosecco DOC, obtained by the vinification of Glera grapes. The elegance, freshness and liveliness of its bubbles stem from the beauty and tradition of its territory, where unmistakable panoramas are shaped by vineyards. The cultivation area of Glera grapes is located in the hilly area of the province of Treviso up to the slopes of Valdobbiadene, which is close to the Venetian Prealps. This area is characterised by long but not excessively cold winters and by hot but not sultry summers. The vines in this region grow on different types of land, each characterised by a variety of soils, exposures and slopes that make this Prosecco a wine with many nuances. The hilly terrain is subject to high temperature ranges between day and night. This variation in temperature enables the development of finer, more elegant and at the same time more intense aromas.
Sandro Bottega Fumé Aged Prosecco Grappa
Grappa Fumé Bottega is a product with a great personality, aged in wood barrels which have undergone a special smoking process. Its elegant and captivating packaging, a bottle with a delicate shape, symbolizes a drop of grappa at the moment of distillation.
Selection and care of the raw materials grant quality, freshness and perfect conservation of the pomace which originates this grappa. Grappa Fumé Bottega derives from Glera grape, an autochthonous vine used to produce Prosecco. The skins, perfumed and still rich in must, undergo three distillation phases with different temperature. The process takes place in traditional copper alembics, which allow for under vacuum distillation (greater protection of aromas), with bain-marie heating (indirect and therefore more delicate system), thus preserving the organoleptic qualities of originary grapes. Thanks to a final passage in a demethylation column, residues of methyl alcohol are significantly lower than the limits set by the law. Grappa is then aged for 12 months in oak barrels produced with traditional techniques.
Limoncino Lemon liqueur
Limoncino Bottega is a “limoncello”, traditional Italian liqueur, dating back to the end of the nineteenth century. It is produced from an infusion of “Femminello” lemon peel. This cultivar which is widespread in Italy and characterised by a peel with a thin grain and high quality essential oils. This variety of lemon is called “Femminello” because of the fertility of the plant, which flowers all year round. The lemons are grown naturally and picked at the peak of ripeness, washed and peeled by hand, removing the white part (bitter) and only selecting the yellow peel which is rich in essential oils. The lemon peels are infused in alcohol for about 30 days. This allows the extraction of the aromatic and colouring substances. The liquid is then separated from the peel. Finally, sugar and high quality grappa is added, making this Limoncino unique and unmistakable.
