Stefania Calugi founded the company in 1987: descendant of four truffle hunters generations since the late 1800’s, a young Stefania started providing fresh truffles and mushrooms to the Tuscan restaurant professionals and thanks to the impeccable selection work combined with the great dedication to her job, Stefania became soon a reference point for Tuscan chefs.
The opening of a small 67 square meters artisan workshop in the center of Castelfiorentino was in 1988: shortly afterwards there was established the first factory: the surface covered 400 square meters and the location was in Castelfiorentino too, but this time in the industrial area.
The following years saw a succession of important goals that led to the company’s consolidation and the beginning of expansion in foreign markets.

specialized in the sale of fresh
truffles. In addition to a wellestablished network of truffle hunter,
the company also has 30 hectares of
owned forests, all certified organic.
We receive the fresh product every
day: after a careful selection, the
truffle is shipped all over the world
and delivered within 24-48 hours.
