Colombo was founded in 2003 in Valle Bormida in Alto Monferrato and immediately specialized in the production of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.
Colombo is a nucleus around which the different and complementary forces of men and nature rotate, in a cyclical nature that follows the very long times of the geological formation of the soil and the very short times of cellular reactions, through the return of the seasons, the rising and setting of the sun, moon and stars.
Our goal is to spread the high quality we produce throughout the world.

NATUSIA - Metodo Classico

The bouquet is fine and complex and it is expressed with floral scents of white pulp fruit. The taste is elegant and very savory, with great balance and excelent peristence. At sight, the wine is straw yellow with green reflections, the perlage is minute, tight and persistent. The production technique requires some steps, as a very soft pressing, then the alcoholic fermentation according to the Classic Method in the cool underground cellars of Colombo with subsequent stay on the lees, and lastly an ideal period of refinement in the bottle.

MAXIMA - PIEMONTE DOC PINOT NERO

Our Reserve, only produced in the best years, bears a name of Latin derivation referring to Roman antiquity, when the interest of the Empire in the fineness of the grapes from Bubbio had already been noted. It represents the maximum expression of quality that can be obtained with our grapes: it is a very structured wine, with fine, smooth tannin, enveloping and elegant. This Pinot Nero, with its long ageing, conceals a balanced minerality and a delicate final freshness.
