OMPECO Ltd. is an Italian company proprietary of an innovative international patent for the treatment of waste, which allows to dispose and sterilize the waste where it is produced. For the purpose of simplification of the waste management OMPECO offers an advanced technology: the Converter. Our company owns an innovative international patent for the treatment of waste. With our technology you can dispose and sterilize the waste where they are produced, reducing any refusal to look similar to "sawdust". The Converter is a new environmentally friendly method for the treatment of special infectious waste by converting them into RDF - Refuse Derived Fuel. The patented process is based on the principle of transformation of mechanical energy into thermal energy, so that the machine can reach the optimum temperature of 151°C, without pressure and combustion, avoiding the use of chemical substances and without emissions. The Converter, in fact, does not create any kind of pollution nor water, nor releasing harmful vapors into the environment. The treated waste from Converter is finely crushed, sterilized, dried, reduced in weight by 30%, reduced in volume by 70%, made secure, stable, free from odor and sharp edges. Being compatible with the urban fabric, the refusal of the transportation costs, which would otherwise go to distant landfills, is canceled. OMPECO is direct manufacturer of its products: the device has therefore created the guarantee of "Made in Italy".
The Converter can also be used to treat all kinds of municipal waste, with no division, organic waste of all kinds, animal manure, sludge and animal waste; the end product is dry, reduced in volume and mass, and can be used as pellets or as biomass.
