The company was founded in 1904 in Rossano (CS), an enchanting town located between the Ionian sea and the Presilane hills, an area where olive growing has always represented one of the oldest and most important economic, social and cultural agricultural sectors.
It is in this context that the Converso family has been dedicated to olive growing since the nineteenth century. The oil of the Converso oil mill, produced today with the most modern technologies in full respect of the traditions and genuineness of the product, summarizes all the experience, tradition and passion that over the years has linked entire generations around a real cult. for this wonderful plant and its precious extract.
The plant used for the milling of the olives is a continuous cycle Pieralisi brand type PANORAMA GENIUS P4 with integral system centrifuge and computerized temperature control. All stages of production: collection, transformation, storage, packaging and marketing of the finished product are treated and controlled directly. Today the company is managed by Guglielmo Converso and his sons Giandomenico, commercial manager and Emy who manages Converso Cosmetics, a wide range of certified organic extra virgin olive oil cosmetics.
