Born in Gioia del Colle in 1942, the group «Capurso» became the protagonist
of the extraordinary growth in the past, never achieved by other players in the
sector, in the 1970s and 2000s.

Thanks to the change undertaken and successfully completed, in the years 2011-2013 the BRC, IFS and ISO 22000 certifications are achieved at the highest levels, a necessary condition for entering new distribution channels (GDO and specialized distribution) and on foreign markets, reacquiring historical customers and new customers and marking another important step in the strategy of competitive repositioning of the "Gioiella" brand.
