Olio Glorioso

In the heart of Sicily, the Glorioso company has taken root and from olive trees has taken the fruits for its flavoured aromatic extra virgin oils.
Glorioso produces his oil, in Santa Ninfa, Sicily, the heart of the Belice Valley. The ancient tradition of oil production in this area dates back to 700 BC when Selinunte herself was born as an ancient colony of Magna Grecia. Since then the olive trees paint the landscape of our region.
MISSION
Our mission is to guarantee to the final customer a complete range of olive oils obtained from a high quality olives grown in our territory. Our commitment is to satisfy our customers’ requests with the highest quality and quantity.
PRODUCTS
For the production of our olive oil, we use a cold extraction system at a temperature of 27°C and, the process used allows us to get the best quality of olive oil.
The quality grade of an olive oil is defined according to the results of analytical and organoleptic examinations.
The selected oils are saved in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature with nitrogen.
STAFF
Mario Glorioso was a young passionate man, devoted to olives harvest, funded the roots of the Glorioso company more than 30 years ago.
His legacy was transmitted to his sons, Luigi and Ilaria, that today continue his work diligently without compromising the traditional family values of their Sicilian origins and culture, while following the founder’s dream in the context of modern society

From the Belice Valley, spherical, large size, resembling the shape of a walnut, hence the name Nocellara. The oil obtained from Nocellara del Belìce olives are green with golden yellow reflections. They give a just broken up olives scent with hints of fresh grass and pepper. It has a very intensive green fruitness. On the palate – a great concentration of flavor with a pleasant encounter of bitter and spicy with medium intensity. Ideal for grain and bean soups, bruschetta, grilled red meat, boiled beed, raw artchockes.
