A TYPICAL STORY OF THE ITALIAN PROVINCE. IT BEGAN ALMOST A CENTURY AGO, WHEN THE ROCCA FAMILY BEGAN PRODUCING THE FIRST MULLET ROE AT THE SANTA GILLA LAGOON IN CAGLIARI.
Few could have imagined that a small business born in a workshop of just 40 square metres, where only two people worked would soon become one of the most important Italian businesses on the segment. Specialising in the production of whole and ground mullet and tuna roe, Rocca la bottarga is a business characterised by a good corporate spirit combined with a great ability to look beyond.
Over the years, our products has reached important places on the Italian and international markets. It has been of fundamental importance to optimise internal processes to meet the demands. The generational change, which took place through a delicate but conscious transfer of know-how and aligned with a new business vision, is aimed at investing in the company starting with the people.
