Fantasia Napoletana is the brand of Edra Srl, an Italian family-owned company, which since 1992 has been the reference point for rediscovery of the flavors and aromas of the past with innovation For more than 30 years we have won the trust of our consumers, who reward us every day by choosing the quality of Fantasia Napoletana products to flavor their dishes with ingredients rich in flavor and tradition.
The E.D.R.A. Srl was founded in 1992 by partners of Neapolitan origin who transformed their passion for good food into an entrepreneurial idea.
The attention to the creation of increasingly tasty and refined dishes and the difficulty of finding the right ingredients on the market led the members to embark on a journey in search of the best spices and herbs. Local culture, quality and authenticity were the cornerstones of the research that led to the creation of a wide range of spices and aromatic herbs.
A few years later, the innovative spirit of the members and the continuous search for new products to present to the market, give rise to a new intuition: in a context where people now have less and less time to devote to long culinary preparations, we realize that a quick solution is needed to prepare tasty and genuine dishes, thus the "Mix for pasta" is born, a product that soon becomes the ideal "dinner saver" for many families, a mixture of dehydrated vegetables, spices and aromatic herbs, which allows you to create in a few minutes typical dishes of the Italian tradition. An idea immediately appreciated not only by Italian customers, but also the European ones.
The experience in foreign markets and the needs of the main importers pushes the partners to undertake a new, very ambitious project: to spread the typical products of our territory around the world, something different from the one already present. The idea is to "exploit" their experience and skills to create products that would bring the flavors and aromas of the past to the customers' tables, respecting the tradition, quality and genuineness of the products, thus the project was born. “The rediscovery of flavors”, a study that lasted several years that gave birth to the line (business unit) “Italian Gastronomic Specialties”. With the collaboration of expert technologists, ad hoc recipes are developed for each individual product, with the aim of reproducing the same products that were used on the tables of our grandparents. All stages are carefully monitored so that only products that meet all the required standards are packaged and offered to the market: the selection of the lands and agreements with small local farmers are the first step to bring only the best products to our customers' tables. Respect for the seasonality of the products and the territory have guided the project from the very beginning.
Considering its history, currently Fantasia Napoletana develops its product range on three different lines of products:
• Italian gastronomic specialties
• Mixes for Italian pasta
• Spices, Aromas and Dried Porcini Mushrooms
Today Fantasia Napoletana is present in more than 10 countries including Germany, France, USA, England, South Korea, Greece, etc., additionally to the Italian market, where there are customers of high standing both in the large scale distribution (Coop, Carrefour, etc.) and in the normal trade and Ho.re.ca (Campania excellences, F.lli la bufala, etc.). Over the years consolidating its presence focusing on the following key elements of success: the brand, the quality control, customers satisfaction, product range and IT and Technology for quality purpose.
