MELTEC® (patented product) is a natural semi-solid ingredient similar to a syrup with no added sugar suitable for sugar free applications. It is similar to honey and sugar syrups, the structure is long and thick due to the fibrous nature with both soluble and insoluble fibers. Based on natural vegetable fibers from legumes and cereals MELTEC® is able to replace 30%+ sugars and syrups in many different applications (bakery, fillings, sauces, confectionary, ice cream, beverage, candied fruits, bars and not only). MELTEC® acts as humectant, thickener, texturizer, binding agent, cryoprotectant. Produced in Italy by Hi-Food, MELTEC® is odorless and flavorless, non-browning agent, allergen free, clean label with 71% vegetable fibers content.



Functional clean label ingredients base for the cold production of high quality – cost effective – VEGAN SAUCES (mayonnaise-like). No heat-activation required, COLD PROCESS! Active in cold conditions with stabilizing, thickening and high emulsifying properties. Silky and smooth texture: sauce is bright, homogeneous and creamy with full body; flavour is mild and pleasant without any offtaste, neutral in colour (both customizable). Fat amount is 60%, lower than the average full-fat mayonnaise on the market! Manufacturing process is easy to be scaled on an industrial line, completely customizable formulation made in Italy by Hi-Food technology.



Innovative shelf-life extender and natural flavor, co-processing of fermented ingredients and vegetable extracts. HI-SHIELD COMPLEX FE combines the presence of vegetable extracts combined with natural sources of acetic acid with a non-selective extraction of functional components (flavones and flavonoids) derived from citrus fruits to obtain an excellent aromatic combination with equal anti-mold efficacy. This allows the use of HI-SHIELD COMPLEX FE even in those baked products with a more delicate flavor, in which the presence of propionic acid is not appreciated, but also in sweet, savory baked products, sauces, bread, salads, fillings. fruit-based, gastronomy and plant-based products.
