TITAGARH FIREMA Spa from 2015 becomes part of the Titagarh Group. Firema deals with design, construction of passenger rolling stock, construction and overhaul/repair of electrical and electronic equipment and components, refurbishing of rolling stock, maintenance and full service. Firema has the HQ and production site in Caserta, on the historical site of the former Firema railway company and Savona, new Design office, with the responsibility to develop the product portfolio of the mobility solutions in order to meet the modern needs of the railway market.

Metro Pune
The heavy metro, designed and built entirely by Titagarh FIREMA
Spa jointly with Titagarh Rail System, are designed for the passenger services of the Pune Metro Rail Project.
The bi-directional trainset consists of three venicles in aluminium alloy carbodies, with at each end a powered drivers cab car and an intermediate trailer car. joined by a semipermanent traction bar.
Each trainset is equipped with automatic couplers allowing multiple service of up to 2 traction units (4 driving cars).

Two 4 - quadrant IGBT converter, with microprocessor control, are installed on each end car, each one powering a twin-motor bogie This configuration ensures high performance and overall system reliability.

Lazio Region's Railways
Firema is designing and manufacturing the new rolling stock for Cotral Spa, operator of the Lazio Region's railways, Metromare (Roma-Ostia) and Roma-Viterbo, for which a Framework Agreement was signed in January 2022 for the supply of up to 38 rolling stock for the two lines, including 10 years of Full Service.
Contextually, the first two lots of the Framework Agreement were signed for the supply of 15 EMU 6-cars for the Metromare line,(Roma-Ostia) and 18 EMU
4-cars for the Rome-Viterbo line, of which 12 for the urban section and 6 for the Extra-urban section
These new rolling stock are an evolution, with the necessary line-specific adaptations, of the train produced by Titagarh Firema Spa for the Ferrovia Circumetnea di Catania, in commercial service from 2022.

FCE Catania - Circumetnea
The CTO type traction units, designed and built entirely by Titagarh FIREMA Spa, are designed for the passenger services of the Circumetnea railway.
This is the first batch of the Framework Agreement for the supply of new rolling stock for the metropolitan service of the city of Catania
Each bi-directional Traction Unit consists of two vehicles with aluminium alloy carbodies, each with a driver's cab at each end, both powered, joined by a semi-permanent traction bar. Each traction unit is equipped with automatic couplers allowing multiple service of up to 3 traction units (6 driving cars). Two two-stage traction converters with choppers and naturally ventilated IGBT inverters, with microprocessor control, are installed on each car, each one powering a twin-motor bogie.
This configuration ensures high performance and overall system reliability.
