L’Essenza di Puglia is a family-run organic boutique farming based in Carovigno, Puglia , south Italy. We specialize in producing Salento IGT wines primarily from Primitivo, Negroamaro, Fiano, and Chardonnay vines.

At L’Essenza di Puglia, we approach winemaking with dedication, passion, and care, employing traditional methods passed down for generations while also embracing new technologies. Our production philosophy focuses on creating wines that are not overly bold in flavor but instead well-balanced, allowing the natural characteristics of the grape to shine through, resulting in round wines that are easy to drink and pleasing to the palate.

We are also a producer of extra virgin olive oil sourced from centuries-old trees ranging from 600 to 1000 years old, and we offer a range of high-quality, naturally flavored infused oils.

We are committed to sustainable practices at L’Essenza Di Puglia and actively pursue symbiotic agriculture to conserve and protect the Mediterranean environment and its biodiversity. Our vineyards and olive groves are harmoniously integrated with natural, spontaneous wild plants, reflecting our dedication to environmental stewardship.

PRIMITIVO RED IGT SALENTO

Ruby red color with hints of ripe berries, cherry and plum jams. Spicy and toasted notes of vanilla, cocoa and coffee given by the refining of 6 months in steel and 4 in French oak barrels. On the palate it is soft, velvety and persistent with an elegant tannic structure typical of the primitivo. Excellent meditation wine and accompaniment to grilled, roasted and braised meats.

ROSÉ PGI SALENTO
