With roots going back to the early 1900s, the MUNGAI brand is synonymous not just with tradition but also with modernity and progress.
The company was started by the current owner’s mother, who passed her experience and skill on to her daughter, who, in turn, provided the creativity and hard work that has carried the company forward. This commitment to the family business plus an awareness of the importance of history and culture has led to the next generation now taking an active role in the company’s affairs, continuing the company’s multigenerational tradition. Accordingly, they are working together to face the challenge of merging the values of the past with the demands of today.
In recent years the company has grown, expanding its business beyond Italy. In its newly enlarged artisanal workshop, each piece continues to be made by hand, with quality and a meticulous attention to detail given to each individual article the company’s touchstone – qualities that MUNGAI customers have always acknowledged and appreciated.
Therefore, each handmade piece is unique, encapsulating the company’s expertise, attention to detail, and imagination – all with an eye toward the future.
