La Fenice Liquori

The Agricultural Company La Fenice was founded in 2010 as organic spice manufacturer, pointing its focus on the wild fennel seed plantation.
The love for spices and herbs then turns into the interest and desire of testing their use in the processing of alcohol in order to have unique and characteristic handmade liqueurs, which are the result of a fervent creativity in the choice of raw materials to be mixed, some of them are directly cultivated by the company (such as wild fennel seeds and crusco peppers). In terms of productive diversification, in 2017 was launched the first liqueur, a digestive made with wild fennel seeds and herbs characterized by a very original taste.

In 2021 Cruscò was launched to the market: the first and unique crusco pepper flavoured liqueur, the ‘king’ of the Lucanian cuisine and the greatest model of its most authentic tradition.
Cruscò in the sweet and spicy flavor (with the addition of chili pepper) is a unique and special liqueur, where the twirling shapes of the pepper cover all over the elegant shape of the glass bottle and plunge into a fine liqueur, whose original flavor is due to the perfect harmony between natural herbs and sweet forest honey produced in Basilicata.
The crusco pepper derives from a variety of goat horn pepper seeds cultivated by the Agricultural Company La Fenice.

Beauty and local traditions go on to inspire La Fenice company in the production of new handmade products, whose flavours and scents evoke an authentic character typical of our land.

The liqueur is made from an infusion of crusco pepper (grown in our local farm), spices and natural herbs. It is made with local forest honey, so it is sugar free. In accordance with tradition, after the harvest and drying of peppers and when seeds are removed, they rest in infusion in pure alcohol and spices. Peppers are then placed in bottles by hand to continue the infusion process. Drinking this liqueur you will perceive all the typical scents and flavours of our region, which are part of a Basilicata experience.
INGREDIENTS: water, alcohol, forest honey*, crusco pepper* (11%), orange peels, spices and natural herbs.

It stands out for its perfect harmony between fresh notes of mint with heady scents of wild fennel seeds, balanced by the freshness of lemon peels and the sweetness of extra chocolate.
INGREDIENTS: water, alcohol, sugar, caramelised sugar, wild fennel seeds, lemon peels, extra chocolate (cocoa paste, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soy lecithin, aroma), coffee extract, liquorice, orange peels, herbs and natural flavours. It may contain traces of nuts and milk.
USE: Perfect at the end of a meal, it should be served cold or as topping on an ice-cream. It can be used for the preparation of cocktails.

DESCRIPTION: The liqueur is made from an hydroalchoholic infusion of wild fennel seeds and other herbs, pasteurized fresh milk and milk cream produced in Basilicata. All the digestive properties of the infusion materialize in a cream liqueur with a very pleasant taste.
