Ca' Colonna is a family-run farm located in Ravenna - Italy. The farm, spread over an area of 40 hectares all certified organic, has specialized in the production of vegetables for the fresh market and in the cultivation of cereals in a supply chain with a local milling company. The company's focus is on the quality of its raw materials and in the simplicity of its products, which are free of preservatives or additives of various kinds, because we care about respecting the environment and consumer health.
We are also a reality with a social vocation: we employ workers from disadvantaged categories, with the aim of promoting inclusion, collaboration and integration through agricultural work.
This allows the people involved to rediscover contact with nature, enhance rural traditions and actively contribute to the protection of the territory.
Compared to a traditional agricultural business, our added value is the ability to generate significant relationships and collaborations, creating a virtuous network with other local realities, producing social benefits and contributing to the development of the community.
Furthermore, we have started a collaboration with some agricultural communities in Africa, where the mango used in our juice comes from.
Through this project we support local development, promoting access to work in areas where opportunities are scarce.
The initiative also aims to pass on agricultural skills to new generations, encouraging the protection and enhancement of the territory. The mango is then imported into Italy and processed at our company, according to our quality and sustainability standards.
