From the time that we opened our first confectionery bakery in the ancient heart of Pavia almost 60 years ago, Antica Pasticceria Casaschi has been baking genuinely artistic creations in homemade confectionery. These range from classic panettone cakes to Baci di Dama (Lady’s Kisses), from beignets filled with whipped cream to biscuits of fragrant pastry, from traditional and classic Italian confectionery recipes to our latest creation, the “Baciotto”.

The care and attention that our pastry chefs put into the creation of these small masterpieces of flavour are sure to delight and satisfy every palate. The wide range of our confectionery will satisfy the refined tastes of even our most demanding customers.

Our decision not to use any kind of preservative but instead only top quality fresh ingredients gives the products of Antica Pasticceria Casaschi a unique rich and vivid flavour that provides a unique experience from the very first taste.

Our flagship product is the cream puff ( 160,000 units sold per year, with a 300% mark-up), made entirely by hand using our original recipe perfected over six decades. Using the cream puff's basic dough, the choux paste, we have developed: sweet flavours for dessert, savoury flavours for a snack, a doughnut for breakfast and a piadina (thin Italian flatbread) to fill as you please. We are able to cover different consumption time slots throughout the day with a single production line: imagination and good taste are the only limits to the extreme versatility of this artisan productthat is also suitable for industrial production.
