Lorella Tamberi Canal creates jewelry - completely handcrafted in Italy - of semiprecious stones with silver. Her designs are characterized by a constant search for and experimentation with striking juxtapositions between colors and different material consistencies. She pairs stone and metal with materials rarely used in the world of jewelry design such as lambskin, shagreen and python.
Lorella Tamberi Canal jewelry has been published in the pages of Vogue Accessory, Vogue Pelle, Vogue.it, Elle, Elle.it, IoDonna.it, Vie del Gusto e Preziosa Magazine. In 2013, a selection of her pieces was highlighted in “Artistar Jewels - L’arte da indossare” (“Artistar Jewelry - Wearable Art”), published by Fausto Lupetti Editore.
Lorella Tamberi Canal made her début in important industry shows with the 2013 edition of Milano Design Week, where her work was displayed in an exhibition dedicated to female designers. Her pieces were selected for show in “Gioielli alla Moda” in Milan’s Palazzo Reale museum in December 2016, “Scatenata, la catena tra funzione e ornamento” (“Unchained, The chain Between Function and Ornament”) at Milan’s Palazzo delle Stelline museum in January 2017, “La pelle della moda” (“Leather in Fashion”) in September 2017, and in “Naturalia” in January 2018 at the Milanese trade fair, HOMI, focused on individual lifestyle.
