The company, a start-up, was born from the idea of the founding partner to create and promote a truly original product in the world of women's fashion.
The intuition was to design in a single product, jewel and t-shirt. It led to the creation of the first three models that represent the new brand.
This brand want to be the expression of originality and quality of the Made in Italy through the artistic study of products, the research of materials with great attention to the quality and sustainability of the environment; the organization of the production and realization of the handmade process, both in clothing and jewellery.
Marcolami T-Shirt . Each phase of the production process, the graphic design of drawings, T-shirt production (in 100% cotton), the hand-stitching of eco-leather inserts, it takes place exclusively in studios and tailor-made laboratories in Italy.
ML Marcolami Jewellery, made in Italy, chooses its own materials according to a precise logic aimed at the eco-sustainability of the environment. For pendants it uses:
PLA – polylactic acid: the base of the pendant and the 3D pen hand made processing are produced with PLA filaments, composed of plant-based substance extracts, derived from plants such as corn, wheat and beet, rich in natural sugar (dextrose). Dextrose is converted into lactic acid through a fermentation process and then in versatile polymers which can be used to produce resins or fibres. It is biodegradable at medium temperature.
935 ARGENTIUM STERLING SILVER: the pendant is embellished with a new silver alloy combined with germanium, a metal that transmits brightness, prevents oxidation and maintains its ductility for craftsmanship. In addition it is hypoallergenic, it makes use of 100% recycled silver and it is obtained from sustainable sources.
