For human beings food is about culture and conviviality, as in latin “cum vivere”, living together. It’s about sharing for living together.
The “Cum Vivere” collection analyses the theme of conviviality while dining, and investigates the impossibility of meeting with each other, often a consequence of contemporary living. Therefore the collection speaks to loneliness, silence, and also considers the times when food is consumed in intimacy. The “cum vivere” table celebrates inlay work art with inlays realised with natural stones and precious metals. The marble surface, very thin, stands out for the amusing decoration, which ironically reminds us of hierarchies at the table and characterises food as a medium for maintaining social connections, particularly important in domestic/familiar contexts.
The vase/shelf in the “Cum Vivere” collection works on the overlapping of marbles of different types, carefully selected from processing waste materials and other manufacturing.
It can be used both as a container and as a centrepiece, combined with the “cum vivere” table or stand alone.

Sapio, a trio of stainless steel cutley. The fork-stick multiple accessory represents a particular fusion of the different cultures at the table, enhancing the essence of the relational, cultural and aesthetic experience.
