Our superversatile LEGÙ BLEND of 4 steamed Italian legumes is the basis for all of our products: white beans, chickpeas, yellow split lentils, yellow peas.
Steam cooking process allows legume proteins to bind with water (similar to gluten) enabling the end product to assume physical shape and form as with gluten. It's gluten-free but gives an elasticity comparable to regular wheat flour and is ideal for everything from sweet (cakes, biscuits, muffins, puddings) to savory (pizza, breadsticks, pancakes, gnocchi).

LEGÙ IS NOT PASTA - Legume based speciality food

LOOKS LIKE PASTA BUT IT'S NOT
Vegetable proteins and fibres ready in 3 minutes.
INGREDIENTS:
100% legume flour blend and no other ingredients,
making it perfectly balanced and rich in vegetable proteins.
Your dinner can be ready in a few minutes!
PRODUCTION:
The legumes are steamed whole, dried and ground.
This allows us to make the vegetable protein more
assimilable and easier to cook.
COOKING:
In a pot with a glass of water (for serving 50g, it will become 120g) boil for 3 minutes with salt. Add oil and parmesan to taste.
SEASONING: avoid butter and cream, which are absorbed too much.
Instead, we suggest:
• sautéed vegetables (e.g. tomato sautéed with a little EVO oil and pecorino
as recommended by Maestro Marchesi)
• various pestos (from traditional basil to nuts or rocket, or pistachios)
• fish (shrimp, anchovies, clams, etc.)

LEGÙ VEG MIX PATTY

Very quick meal, you prepare it in 1 minute just adding water because everything is already cooked.
100% ITALIAN LEGUMES - VEG - NATURAL - GLUTEN FREE - HIGH PROTEIN
PREPARATION: Pour Patty Mix into a bowl and mix with water, shape small balls with the help of your hands. You can give larger shapes like burger and if you like you can add grated vegetables or cheese. The ingredients are already cooked and ready to use, if you like cold, you can serve without cooking them.
If you also like, you can brown or add them to a tomato sauce.
