Warm thermal water pools
The Euganean thermal water comes from large rainwater basins in the Venetian Alpes where the water sinks for 3000 meters. After having travelled for 80 kmfor ten thousand years, the water reaches the Euganean Spas, where it gushes to the surface at 85°C.
Throughout this long journey the hot water is enriched with different minerals such as sodium, chlorine and nitrogene - which has great therapeutic properties and is crucial for the so-called ripening process of the mud.
At Hotel Garden Terme we offer 3 warm thermal water pools (indoor and outdoor - 34° C).
Thermal Mud-therapy
The mud used in our mud therapy comes from specific lakes in the Euganean hills. The mud undergoes then a ripening process in our hot thermal water for 3 months.
During the mud-therapy the hot mud (38°-42 °C) is directly applied on your skin for 15 min. After removing it with a short shower, you will dive into a private thermal bath tub (36°-38°C) for an other 10 min. A therapist will then help you dry yourself with warm towels.
At the end of your treatment we recommed to relax, in order to allow your body to sweat out all the toxins. We also recommend a massage to boost your blood circulation.
Our mud-therapy is highly recommend for people suffering from arthrosis, osteoporosis and rheumatic diseases (but only after the inflamantion phase has passed).
Inhalation therapies
Inhalation therapies work thanks to special devices that nebulize our thermal water.
These therapies are recognized by the Italian healthcare system for their efficacy during the treatment of respiratory diseases.
The benefits of inhalation treatments are: decrease of pathogenic microbial species in the respiratory tract, fluidification of the mucus and overall anti-inflammatory action on your breathing system.
Hotel Garden Terme facility has got its specific inhalation therapy department.
Physiotherapy and hydrotherapy
Our medical team and skilled workers - such as physiotherapists, personal trainers, dieticians - will provide you with a highly personalized programm - made of different types of treatments and massages - in order to boost your recovery or maximes your overall health.
We highly reccomend your try our hydrotherapy treatments which are physiotherapy massages performed in our warm thermal water pools.
