TAVOLIERE Apulian Specialties

Tavoliere is a story handed down from father to son, from grandfather to grandson.
Tavoliere is a story that innovates itself every day, but remains true to itself.
Tavoliere is an Italian, Apulian, world story.

The Tavoliere is the largest plain in southern Italy, which lies at the foot of the Gargano promontory, in Puglia.
The Tavoliere is a plain overlooking the sea and the mountains behind it.
Il Tavoliere offers precious raw materials to those who have the love and wisdom to cultivate the land.

In 1965 grandfather Donato and his family began a tradition that has been handed down to this day: cultivating the land and the vineyard with passion, to reap the best fruits.
Grapes, olives, vegetables and much more, to prepare sauces, preserves and pasta with love and dedication.

In 2019 his grandchildren pay homage to the passion of grandfather Donato with a project dedicated to the selection of the territorial excellence of the Tavoliere.
Excellent raw materials and love for the territory: the family tradition remains intact and evolves, in the sign of the knowledge that has been handed down over the years and starts from Puglia to travel around the world.

Through a short and certified supply chain and products coming exclusively from Puglia, Tavoliere selects excellent products to export them to the world, with a single great vision: to eat well, to live well.

Artisanal Pugliese Pasta – the handmade tradition.
Water and semolina or flour: just two ingredients give life to the most loved Italian food.

The procedure for making fresh pasta by hand is handed down from generation to generation, until it becomes the symbol of the Mediterranean diet and of Apulian cuisine.

A simple and versatile product, which goes well with the tastiest regional specialties but is also excellent with just a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil. A perfect synthesis between health and taste, presented by Tavoliere in five typical formats: orecchiette, cicatelli, strozzapreti and strascinate.

Genuine and nutritious, it satisfies all palates and cannot be missing from the tables of all food lovers.

Based in the historic center of San Severo (Puglia), the property is an underground cellar of the late 1800s, born and designed to produce quality sparkling wine with artisan methods:

Brut: vinified in steel, bottled after 6 months and aged on the yeasts for 36 months. On the nose it offers hints of bread crust and melted butter, on the palate ripe citrus and hazelnut, with a very persistent after taste.

Pas dosè: vinified in steel, bottled after 6 months and aged on the yeasts for 36 months. Soft pinkish color. Very creamy, balanced by a marked acidity (9 points), with notes of butter and powder.

Verdeca: vinified in steel, bottled after 6 months and aged on the yeasts for 36 months. On the nose it offers hints of bread crust and melted butter, on the palate hints of vanilla and hazelnut, with a very persistent after taste.
