Dal 2003 la cooperativa sociale L’Arcolaio offre percorsi qualificati di inserimento sociale e lavorativo a detenuti e altre persone con fragilità.
Nel nostro laboratorio all’interno della Casa Circondariale di Siracusa realizziamo con passione e professionalità bontà tipiche di Sicilia biologiche, senza glutine e senza lattosio, distribuite sul mercato italiano ed estero con il marchio "Dolci Evasioni'.
Attraverso la nostra attività di agricoltura sociale “Frutti degli Iblei” ex detenuti, giovani migranti e altre persone fragili si dedicano alla coltivazione, lavorazione e confezionamento di erbe tipiche mediterranee e altri prodotti ortofrutticoli siciliani.
Le nostre Dolci Evasioni puntano a valorizzare le eccellenze e la biodiversità del territorio, prediligendo rapporti diretti con piccoli agricoltori locali. Dai biscotti alle mandorle ai sali aromatizzati, dai canditi ricoperti di cioccolato allo sciroppo di carruba, ogni nostro prodotto custodisce e racconta il meglio della Sicilia.

In our facility in the Syracuse Prison we create typical Sicilian organic and gluten-free goodness with professionalism and passion. Our products are distributed on the Italian and foreign market under the Dolci Evasioni brand (sweet escapes). Through our social farming activity, Frutti degli Iblei, former prisoners, young immigrants and other frail people cultivate, process and pack typical Mediterranean herbs and other Sicilian fruit and vegetables. Our Dolci Evasioni aim to enhance the excellence and biodiversity of the territory, preferring direct relationships with small local farmers. From soft macaroons to flavored salts, from almond biscuits to carob syrup, from candied citrus fruits to wild fennel pesto, each of our products preserves and tells the best of Sicily.
Since 2003, the social cooperative L'Arcolaio has been offering social and work integration opportunities to prisoners and other people in need, through a production facility in the Syracuse prison and the social agriculture project, "Frutti degli Iblei" , fostering the excellence and biodiversity of the region.
