Il Poggiolo is an italian family farm located in Montecastello di Vibio, Umbria, also known as the green heart of Italy. Our experience in the agricultural-food market has started in 1976 and it has grown considerably since then. We have been cultivating fruit and vegetables over generations and we follow every single step of their evolution accurately, from the seeding to the hand-picking and processing.
In the kitchen, we turn our story and values into products, looking at the future with an eye turned to the past, still true to the agricultural tradition. In so doing, our pesto, sauces, in oil vegetables and extra jams, fruit nectars and, queen of italian meals, the tomato sauce, say a lot about us in a dish: a journey to re-discover the pleasure that only high-quality products wake up. And not just that: the respect for the environment guides and inspires us in what we do everyday with so much dedication: healthy food, produced naturally with no added preservatives.

Ready-tu-use sauces excellent for an 100% Italian Pasta.

From the genuine tomatoes in our fields, we created 4 different kinds of sauces, made with top-quality ingredients and no added preservatives. Choose among Basil, Country, Rustic and Spicy Sauce and don't miss out the Red Pesto, our tasty alternative to the traditional Pesto alla Genovese.



Our in (extra virgin olive) oil vegetables are made out of carefully selected seasonal vegetables. Handmade by our expert collaborators in our kitchen, they are excellent as appetizers and side dishes, for pasta or alone, on a typical italian Bruschetta. We produce 5 different kinds of in oil vegetables: Dried tomatoes, Eggplant Hearts, Zucchini, Thistles and Vegetables Salad.



Unique jams that preserve all the properties and the real taste of the fruit.

With 70% minimum of fresh fruit, our Extra-jams are only produced according to the seasonality of raw materials. Free of any kind of chemical addition, they preserve not only the taste but also the color of the fruit.
We produce many different kinds of jams: Apricot, Peach, Plum, Quince, Strawberry, Fig and walnut, Apple and cinnamon, Green tomato, Orange and Apple Extra Jam.



Our fruit netars: a nourishing pleasure ideal at any time of the day.

Only produced with selected seasonal fresh fruit, rich in fiber and with no added preservatives, our fruit nectars are a perfect way to start the day, a mix of energy, taste and health.
We produce 5 different kinds of fruit nectars: Apple Nectar, Apricot Nectar, Pear Nectar, Peach Nectar, Fruit Mix nectar.



Queen of the italian cuisine, our Tomato Sauce has a single ingredient: the tomatoes of our fields.

Our Tomato Sauce is ajewel. Produced as once by grandmothers, it recalls family traditions (it is/was very common for an italian family to produce his own Passata di Pomodoro) with its authentic taste and its bright red color. Healthy and sweet, it's a must have in every kitchen.
