Biraghi S.p.a. was founded in 1934. What started as a dairy farm soon grew into an internationally recognized company, dedicated in providing high-quality dairy products.
Local farms daily supply 480.000 l of fresh milk to produce several types of cheese, including Gran Biraghi hard cheese, gorgonzola, ricotta, mascarpone and butter. 1500 Gran Biraghi wheels and 700 gorgonzola wheels are produced everyday.
These 2 products represent the core-business of the company. Gran Biraghi comes in cubes, pieces, grated and portions of the wheel. Gorgonzola is sold in slices or in part of cheese wheels.
A production of Ricotta and Mascarpone started few years ago and a good quality level has been reached. They are sold in bag for industry and in small sizes for final consumer.

Gorgonzola cheese
Produced with whole cow's milk, this straw-white, blue-veined cheese aims to satisfy all tastes. It is known for its two PDO varieties: the sweet (dolce), creamy type, and the slightly spicy (piccante), firmer version.
It is available in whole and pre-sliced: 200g, 250g, as well as 1/16, 1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 of the cheese wheel.
Grated Gran Biraghi cheese
This product is made from the heart of the Gran Biraghi wheel, providing a natural and preservative-free cheese. The easy-close packaging helps keep it fresh longer. It is offered in several sizes: 50 g, 100 g, 250 g, 300g, 500 g and 1000 g.
Gran Ricotta Super Cremosa
Ricotta, which translates to “recooked”, is a sweet and creamy cheese made from the whey left over from cheese making. It is a versatile ingredient, perfect for savory recipes and desserts. You can find it in three convenient packages to meet every need: 1.5 kg, 230g and 3x50g.
Biraghini snack
Suitable for adults and children, this is the perfect snack for studying, working, sports practice and leisure. The ideal solution for who is always on the go.

Gran Biraghi petals
Gran Biraghi petals are crafted from the heart of the wheel. These flakes come in a convenient freshness-saving packaging. They are ideal for seasoning salads, vegetable soups, pasta, risotto and carpaccio. Excellent sprinkled over risotto and soups. Made with 100% Italian milk, they are natural and preservative-free.
