The Bric Cenciurio winery is located in the heart of Langhe, on the hills of the Barolo town. Founded in the nineties, Bric Cenciurio is a small family run winery. It was born by the idea of Franco Pittatore and his brother-in-law Carlo Sacchetto. They decided to unite the lands of their own families and start to produce wine. Unfortunately Franco died while working in vineyard, 2 years after the company set-up. The 2 sons where still too young, but, they had the toughness to make the dream of their father come true. Currently the winery is run by Alessandro and Alberto Pittatore, together with their mother Fiorella and their uncle Carlo Sacchetto. The Bric Cenciurio vineyards consist today of about 18 hectares distributed within the municipalities of Barolo, Novello, Castellinaldo and Magliano Alfieri.
The winery has always been committed to reduce the use of synthetic chemicals in the vineyards and to keep alive the good agricultural practices learned from parents and grandparents.
The vinification is based on the respect of raw materials and the technology is associated with traditional methods, such as following the phases of the moon during the works of decanting and bottling.
Our wine production is a sincere expression of our territory, we produce Roero Arneis docg, Langhe doc Riesling, Barbera d’Alba doc, Barbera d’Alba doc Superiore, Langhe doc Nebbiolo, Barolo docg and 2 unique and exclusive single vineyards MGA “Coste di Rose” and MGA “Monrobiolo di Bussia” both located in Barolo municipality.

Pittatore is owners family name.
Created by blending Nebbiolo grapes from several vineyards within the small municipality of Barolo, where these wines began in the early 1800s their long road to international success.
Our historic vineyards express the elegance and richness of aromas that are the true essence of this appellation.
Long macerations on the skins and long refinements in barrels of different woods and shapes extract from the grapes the unique details of an unmistakable character.

Barolo docg Riserva Coste di Rose

100% Nebbiolo grapes growing in “Coste di Rose” single vineyard located in Barolo municipality, this is one of the best expression of Barolo area with peculiarity notes of liquorice that comes up more and more when aging. Vintage selection of first 5 lines on top of the hill, made only in best vintages, the wine is aged 36 months in Slavonian Oak cask.
A selection of the grapes that best express the strong character of the Coste di Rose vineyards.
This wine is a character to be tamed, like a true purebred horse. The wine requires time and respect to show its potential elegance without losing its distinct freshness and depth.
The patience required throughout the long and traditional process of refinement - first in large barrels, then steel, and finally bottles - is amply repaid by this Barolo as it expresses the beauty and power of a great wine at its peak.

100% Nebbiolo grapes, the wine is aged 4 months in Slavonian Oak Barrels.
We aim to deliver the most fresh and young version of Nebbiolo grape.
In this wine, we renew the union between Barolo and Roero that brought our families together.
The Nebbiolo grown in Barolo and Roero - each having its own types of soil and climate - achieves a broad range of delicate aromas and a distinct balance.
In the cellar, we aim to preserve and enhance this wine’s finesse and elegance. We work with the utmost attention to adapt each phase of vinification and aging to the peculiarities of each vintage, without ever forcing nature's hand. The result is a rich but accessible wine that you can enjoy every day.

Barbera d'Alba doc Castellinaldo

100% Barbera grown in the municipality of Castellinaldo, it is the less sandy area of the Roero. The climate is predominantly dry and warm. The Castellinaldo denomination is distinctive for its lower acidity and the predominance of fruity notes. Good sun exposure. The wine is aged for 12 months in oak barrels. The “Castellinaldo” sub-area is also accepted and recognized by the producers located in Langhe area. It extends into the municipalities of Castellinaldo, Magliano Alfieri, Guarene, Vezza d’Alba, Canale, Priocca. A wine born as a tribute to the terroir of Castellinaldo in Roero, historically celebrated as one of the best for to the production of the Barbera vine.
A small production of the highest quality which requires low yields and careful selections in the vineyard, rigorously attended with manual work.
In the cellar, the long aging times in carefully selected barrels condense all the essence of Barbera and its land of origin in a few precious bottles.

Roero Arneis docg

100% Arneis grapes growing in Magliano Alfieri and Castellinaldo municipality, stainless steel tanks wine making process.
When our families decided to join forces in the 1990s and make their dreams come true, we planted our first vineyard at Bric Cenciurio, in Roero.
The unique soil and microclimate of this parcel, enable the Arneis to fully express its special character. Our first venture, this wine attests to our family’s commitment to excellence.
In the cellar, our role is to preserve the characteristics unique to Arneis wines - delicacy, freshness, and elegance with fruity, floral, and herbaceous qualities that finish with pleasant grace. This white wine is an ideal pairing with fish, pasta, vegetables, rice, and delicate dishes. It is a wonderful aperitif, too.
