GRAPE VARIETY: Sangiovese.
CERTIFICATIONS: Organic Wine.
GROWING SYSTEM: espalier.
SOIL: Calcareous with much skeleton, flat land.
YIELD: 90 quintals/ha.
HARVEST PERIOD: Half of September.
PRODUCTION: grapes intended to the production
of Tarù are harvested perfectly ripe in terms of
aromas and phenols and promptly sent to the
winery. Made with the traditional red vinification,
fermentation is carried out in steel tanks with skin
maceration for about 8-10 days at a controlled
temperature.
REFINEMENT: In steel tanks and french oak
barrique.
ALCOHOL CONTENT: 13% vol.
TASTING NOTES: COLOUR – intense ruby red;
SCENT – winy, very pleasant, typical of the original
grape variety; TASTE: dry, harmonic, bodied and
appropriately tannic.
