INDUSTRIA METALLURGICA ODOBEZ s.r.l. | IMO is a forging Company, owned by the family of the same name, who founded the company in Lecco in 1840 and since then has continuously handed down its management through its generations.
In 2000 the company moved to the new headquarters in Ballabio (LC), near Lake Como.
Since then, major investments have enabled the company to offer a ‘turnkey’ service to its customers - from rough forgings to completely finished machined parts - including additional external operations such as chrome coatings and weld overlay.
Alongside the traditional forging department, IMO has an efficient and modern Machine workshop to perform turning, milling, drilling, boring, grinding, repairs and assemblies.
Since 2017 IMO has been operating in the new and modern headquarters in Pasturo (LC) and the production can enjoy the important innovations, made possible by the considerable investments made.
Today IMO is able to manage the forging and mechanical processing of parts with unit weights from 5 kg up to 30000 kg.
The versatility of the modern structure, the processes and the highly qualified staff allow IMO an efficient production with short lead-times.
The experience gained over many years of work reserves greater guarantees of 'quality and deliveries' even for the most demanding customers.
