RAVIDA is a south west Sicilian, family owned, olive oil producer acclaimed worldwide for its elegant, grassy extra virgin olive oil.
Over its 30 years on international markets, RAVIDA classic ‘house blend’ has been representing quality Sicilian production internationally winning awards worldwide from China to Canada, Germany, the USA and UK.
Defined as ‘one of the best olive oils in the world’, ‘an oil I will never tire of’, RAVIDA is renowned for its long peppery aftertaste, medium grassy nose and elegant balanced long finish.
It is a natural blend of three west Sicilian olive varieties: Biancolilla, Cerasuola, Nocellara extracted at low temperatures to the highest quality requirements.
It is an easy oil with a complex long-lasting finish that appeals to lovers of great flavours, chefs and all those who follow a healthy lifestyle in the kitchen.
It is produced at the Ravidà family olive press in Menfi Sicily. The Company is almost entirely run by women.
The brand has been expanded to include a Lemon and a Mandarin Olive oil, both ‘2020 Great Taste Award’ winners; a line of Sicilian Sea Salts and a Vinegar produced in nearby Marsala.
In 2020 RAVIDA is one of Flos Olei’s Selected Farms.
The RAVIDA ‘house blend’ is available with both an Organic and an uncertified label in 4 formats: 750 ml, 500 ml, 250 ml, 100ml customized dark green glass bottles.
The uncertified label is also available in 3 and 5 Lt Oilboxes.

The sea salt selected from the salt pans of west Sicily is packaged in 200 gm, 500gm, 1600 gm plastic jars.
The line of sea salt with Sicilian herbs: oregano, fennel pollen, fennel seeds is packaged in 200gm glass jars.
RAVIDA is active on Facebook and Instagram where it is growing a following for its olive oil based recipe.
The owner of the company travels around the world holding cooking glasses and olive oil tastings to introduce the world of olive oil to its customers.
‘Seasons of Sicily’ is a cookbook based at the Ravida family home in south west Sicily portraying the use of extra virgin olive oil in a traditional Sicilian country kitchen.
